For bed & breakfast owners though this doesn't have to mean you have too many vacancies. You definitely want to be promoting your business to those that travel for work as well. It may surprise you to find that many individuals spend a third or more of the year on the road for work. They really get tired of living out of suitcases and out of motel rooms.
Your bed & breakfast can offer them a cozy place to stay though were they get more of the comforts of home. If they frequently travel to your area, then they may become a regular customer that you get to know. They will love the personal attention over what they get when they check into a hotel. Chances are they get a different clerk each time they arrive there.
Some who travel for business have enjoyed the experience so much that they make a reservation there every time they are in town. They know exactly what they can expect and the quality of the service they will get. They may even look forward to their stay instead of dreading the travels again. You can show our appreciation too by offering some type of promotion for repeat customers.

You will find your bed & breakfast profits increase significantly when you have steady customers coming in. It is all in a days work, but at the end of the day they really need to unwind. You can help them to get a good night of rest by offering a quality bed & breakfast for them to stay in.

Your goal should be to fill up each night and that means reaching all the various groups of people who may be interested in staying at your bed & breakfast.
