WP-PIPS 2.0 was built with one goal in mind, to build a site with all of the functionality Wordpress has to offer while maintaining an easy to manage site which literally IS plug and play.

The WP-PIPS 2.0 site consists of static pages, a blog section, a forum and an article directory. It also comes with a landing page template for creating splash pages. Lots of SEO features such as the SEO plug-in which automatically creates your meta keyword and meta description tags, auto linking plug-in which automatically interlinks your pages, similar posts, 301 redirect plug-in and much more.

It also comes with a Google Analytics plug-in which tracks all outgoing links, something which normally requires a lot of work to configure.

Along with all of the features mentioned above WP-PIPS 2.0 has the share this plug-in which includes extensive social bookmarking and sharing as well as email, it also utilizes Feedburner which allows you to add a load of features as well as tracking to your RSS feeds.

WP-PIPS 2.0 includes the automtatic upgrade plug-in which allows you to keep your Wordpress installation and all of the plug-ins up to date with the click of your mouse, it couldn't be any easier.

There are about 25 plug-ins in total which make this a very powerful and feature rich Wordpress installation.

The site also comes with around 34 widget positions where you can literally drag and drop content virtually anywhere on the site without having to touch any code whatsoever. All of the content which comes with the site can also be easily modified within the user friendly Wordpress interface.

Static Pages

The static pages are there to act as your money pages. These pages are where you want to funnel as much traffic to as possible. All pages are linked to in the top horizontal menu and are displayed on every page of the site to achieve maximum exposure.

Auto link plug-in, WP-PIPS 2.0 consists of a plug-in which will automatically link to pages via keywords which you specify. This is an extremely powerful plug-in which will ensure your site is well optimized for the search engines by interlinking pages within your site. Especially useful for sending traffic and building links to your money pages. Remember that internal links are counted as back links too.

Another plug-in which I have added to WP-PIPS 2.0 allows you to exclude static pages from the main menu, may not sound all that exciting but it handy if you want to create a hidden bonus page or if you want to place them in a separate menu than the main menu.

Blog

The blog section is there for you to provide your own content. Adding unique content on a regular basis is likely to increase your favor with the search engines not to mention the back links and social media traffic you can potentially generate.

Blogs are also a way to build trust with your visitors to make them more receptive to what it is you have to offer. Often if I read a useful blog post or article I may consider joining the sites newsletter or subscribing to the RSS feed. I have specifically made it easy to do both of these on the WP-PIPS 2.0 site.

Forum

Forums are great for several reasons, they allow visitors to your site to ask questions and interact, they allow you to provide training and support for PIPS members in your down line, they provide unique content including my favorite user generated content, they allow you to brand yourself and portray yourself as an expert and they allow you to generate a community.

Members who are new to PIPS may not be ready for a forum so i have made it easy to simply remover the link from the sidebar until your are ready to use it. Or if you are not interested then you can easily remove it altogether.

The Blog plug-in is Simple Press, I considered using a standalone forum script such as phpBB3 and bridging it with Wordpress however in keeping with my aim of making the site as simple to use as possible I decided to go with Simple Press. It may not have all the bells and whistles of some of the other forums but I think it's ease of manageability easily makes up for that.

Article Directory

The article directory is created using another plug-in. The great advantage which I believe is unique to Wordpress 2.7 and above is that you can apply different templates to each page. This allows you to break free from having to work with the same template for each page and provides the ability to create things like article directories which don't use a typical blog layout.

The article directory is fed unique articles via the UAW plug-in so that you can build out your article directory virtually on auto pilot. The key to a successful article directory is quality over quantity.

Landing Pages

The WP-PIPS 2.0 sites comes with a landing page template to allow you to create an unlimited number of splash pages.

The idea behind an effective splash page is to remove as many distractions as possible, so in this case I have removed the sidebar, search, as well as certain content to make sure the visitor will see the message that you want them to see. This is a well known method for increasing conversion rates.
